Could I come here alone some time,

with your name carved in the corner of my eye?

I find the silence by your side

just enough to keep my reasoning occupied 

It’s been a while since Tuesday

Been far too long

My head’s been caught in foul play

since our last call

Force a meaning into space you’ve left behind
